DB-Connect Failed, Return Code 000256

HI experts,

while I am trying to install SAP Solution manager Enhancement package 1.

I am getting the following errors in the SAP Event Log.

Errors:

Database: > Login failed for user 'SAPSERVER04\SAPServiceSE1'.

Database: Database error -1 at CON

SAP-Basis System: Initialization DB-Connect Failed, Return Code 000256

Here are the details of the systems:

Operating System : Windows 2003

Database : MSSQL 2005

Can any one please tell me what is the problem with solution.

check login information for SAP service names SAP[SID]_XX

it seems that password is wrong. so, update the password and restart the SAP service and see what happens.
