Safety Stock Method - SM Max.of Safety Stock and Safety Days'Sup.from Loc.P

Hi,

We have requirement here regarding the safety stock in Supplier Network Collaboration ( SNC)

Customer would like to maintain the No. Of days of supply and as well as static values for the Min / Max Levels in Location Product Settings in SNC.

In that case system should take whichever is the maximum. i.e. for example for a product A

Safty Days of supply is 2

Tager Days of supply is 4

And also customer maintained

Safety stock - 100

Target Stock - 300

In that case if 2 days of demand is coming to 200 then Min stock should be 200

if 2 days of demand is coming to 50 then Min stock should 100

Based on the description in Help, Safety Stock Method - 'SM' Max.of Safety Stock and Safety Days'Sup.from Loc.P should meet this requirement. But when I choose this method it is only taking the static values. System is not considering the Day's of supply values even in case that value coming higher than the static value.

Any inputs in this regard is higly appreciable & will rewaded,

Hi Krishna,

I understand that you want system to consider maximum of Safety day's and safety stock then maintain Target stock level method 4.
