Troubleshoot Errors while Data Extraction...!!!

Hi BW Experts,

In a scenario of extracting data into ODS or InfoCube, could anyone give me a step-by-step guide as to what errors could arise and how to troubleshoot those errors and then what kind of procedures do we have to follow for further extraction from there...???
