Database tables in MDM

Hi SDNers,

I would like to know about this table A2I_XCAT_DBS in MDM database. I know in this table we will find repository schema user ids and repository entires. Any documenration for these database table.

please advise on this??

Hi Kiran,

More than documentation ,suggest you use SQL Enterprise manager (incase of SQL server) or any database tool.You can have a look at all the tables and fields practically once.

Connect to database SQLserver > Navigate to Databases folder > Select the repositoryname_m000 > select Tables from hierarchy pane > Tables pane on right hand side will display all the tables related to repository.

You can as well run simple queries for tables and view the records.

This exercise will surely provide a good insight on DB tables related to MDM.

Please give a try .

Hi SDNers,

When we create a Repository in MDM Console it will creates two databases in Database.

Example: test is my repository. in Database it will create 2 databases. Test_M000 and Test_Z000 with Admin preveligies in Database. Any document for this in MDM.

in SAP MDM 5.5 SP06.
