Sending Control Recipe problem from SAP to MII

Hi,

I am trying to send control recipe from SAP to MII 12.0. I have configured MII Message Listener with the Progid, gwhost and gwserv used in RFC destination. Set the Processing rule editor for that Msg Listener with type category and Message Name CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD. While sending it from CO53 it is showing sent but in MII I am not receiving it. If I check SM58 it is showing an error Bean CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD not found on host <my mii host>,ProgId=<Prog id used in RFC Dest>

Please help.

Sudipta,

please check if the connection is set up correctly. As a help you can go through the blog [How To Send Control Recipe Data from ECC to SAP xMII|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/6339] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];. To check the connection, have a look at [How to Send an IDoc from SAP ECC to the SAP MII IDoc Listener|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/50775783-6cb1-2b10-90b0-e6bc2c0b8563].

If everything is correct, check if the authorization of the user that connects to SAP is correct.

Hope this helps.

Sudipta,

I have seen that error occur where people have tried to create the prog id in Netweaver instead of letting MII set it directly with the ERP. Please check to see if your Prog ID is already in NW and if so, NW is getting confused where to send the file. Unfortunately this is an all too common error.

I realize that setting up an RFC Listener is a little different than setting up an IDoc Listener, but the document will still show you the basics that apply (there are fewer steps to setting up the RFC Listener).

Also which version of MII are you using?

Regards,

Mike
