MDM SP3 Business Package customization

Hi,

I have installed MDM SP3 Business Package on my Portal. I am able to create Systems, IViews etc with the same. But the client for which I'm working requires some customization to the existing functionality.

I know this thing can be accomplished with MDM JAVA APIs but it looks like re-inventing the wheel for some minor changes required for customization.

The problem with the Business Package is, suppose I want to add just a button on "Item details IView". This IView listens to the specified events from some other IView. If I create a customized application for viewing Item Details, work won't get over here as it listens to some events of which we do not have information.

So, is the source code/specifications for the Business Package is available somewhere?

Hi,

I have seen source code with the SP2 iViews, but not with the SP3 iViews.

In SP3 I don't think you have a provision to modify the iViews like what you are talking about.

May be in SP4 we might have some provisions to customize.
