sap 4.7 ides installation failed with errors...help needed..

Hi i'm facing a problem while installing sap 4.7 ides on windows xp.

my system config : 80gb hard disk,1gb ram,intel p4 processor.

The installton stops just before creating rfc step while creating sap view. (after 13 hours right at the end of installation) .

i mean after all the jobs are completed .

I tried three times from the scratch.I checked the log.it shows error in SAPSSEX1.see the log of SAPSSEX1.

Hi Smith,

You are trying to installing in XP ! Thats not recommended. It may install successfully but XP is not sufficient enough to run SAP server.

And the error invalid checksum in data file : when you do copy from your CDs to your local machine,its may not happend properly.Check whether all the CDs were coped properly to your machine. You can check this by comparing the size.

- Oracle 8.1.7 is long out of support (several years now)

- Oracle 8.1.7 is not supported on Windows XP and Windows 2003 (it was never and won't be)
