Hi experts,
I am facing a problem with the allignment in smartforms. How can I left-align a price e.g.?
The datatype is wertv8 and the value in the variable is 19,2. I wanna display it like
"19,2"
but its displayed that way
" 19,2"
Is there a way to cut off the leading spaces?
Regards,
Tobi
Hi,
Try this formatting option for compressing spaces .Place C beside the variable.
&W_VAR(C)&

Hi,
Please create new paragraph format with left alignment in STYLE and assign it to the variable which is displaying the value.
If any problem revert i will give the details how to create.

hi
Actually by default all Decimal values will be right aligned.
If u still want it left aligned then Declare a Variable of Type CHAR with the same length and move the value to this char and then display with left aligned by condensing it
or else resize ur text element so that it correctly fill the total length and in the smartstyle Paragraph format in TABS create a Tab by choosing ALIGN WITH DECIMAL CHARACTER.
