Generally pages will appear in detailed navigation.

If you add the iview directly to workset or second level navigation then iview link will appear in detailed navigation under your role.

Objects appear in following fashion in portal...

Top level

second level

Detail navigation

detail navigation 1

2

3

so if you want your iview to come in detail navigation, build a role and add the page to the role. The page contains your iview.

After that open role and in property set entry point to be yes.

Add role to user in user admin ..and check the status

Hi Deepika,

Ur statment : "can u give me in detail bcoz while im adding iview to workset add iview to page by using delta link is not getting this option"

How come you will get option "add iview to page" when you are trying to add iview to workset.

If you want to add iview to page , you need to create page , opwn it and then right click the iveiw . you will get option add iview to page.

Second level navigation is nothing but the level below the top level .

For ex:

If you select "content Admininstration" role , you will get a level below it containing "Portal content" "webdynpro ", "Unification" etc tab . Its nothing but second level navigation.
