Problems to Open MI Client 7.1

Hi everybody!

I installed MI Client 7.1 with MaxDB, but when the MI Client is starting, this error happens:

SQL Exception with message: [-4001]: Unknown user name/password combination in operational state ADMIN/ CFS message: Cannot connect to database / State: I4001 / ErrorCode: -4001

I understand this error, but not why it´s happening, because I installed MaxDB and it should work correctly..

Anyone could help me?

Hi,

I hope you didnot have a previous version of MaxDB already installed. In case that was the case then I would recomment you to uninstall the previous version first and then install the MaxDB again.

Hi Nipun,

I´ve solved the problem... I installed the MaxDB version 7.7 instead of 7.6 ... After that, I started having another problem, because it´s necessary to install the SAP GUI for Java and I took a time until discover in the startup.bat that it wasn´t opening the MI Client because of it... I installed SAP Gui for Java and it has worked.
