There is a whole range of different requirements for securing systems. It would be pointless to try to second guess what is important to your organisations' specific needs but there is lots of different viewpoints on SDN and also service.sap.com so I suggest browsing through there as well as identifying what you class as important.
Just because someone else thinks it's important, does not mean that it is for your organisation. Similarly, just because others don't regard it as important, also doesn't mean you can ignore it!!
