Connection to LIve cache is not possible // SCM 5.0

Hello All,

LC10 - Name of Database Connection LCA -- click on live cahce monitoring ...determinging version data

nothing is to be display....

Alos I have checked from os level

dbmcli on LQ5>db_state

OK

State

ONLINE

---

But however connection with livecahce is not possible?

LC10 -- Name of Database Connection LCA -- live cahce alert monitoring --MaxDB Monitoring --liveCache -- LCA --Connectivity -- DBMRFC and Native SQL --

DBM Command Execution Error: Error when opening an RFC connection , Red 09.11.2009 , 17:26:09 -- determining the status using DMBRFC in session mode

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Hi Mohsin,

Please execute below program from Transaction SE38. This program basically helps in validating your system states in terms of checking liveCache instance and SAP APO COM routines

hint - You may run the report with default settings, choose Execute again.

/SAPAPO/OM_LCCHECK

And the result of this report will certainly helps in concluding/finding the reasons.

I hope this helps you in findings the rational for this behavior.

SAP Note Number: 1128989

In the SAP application, choose the entry "User Profile" -> "Own Data" in the menu option "System". Go to the tab "Parameter" and enter the parameter ID "DBM_SMODE" and the parameter value "N". Save the new entries.

Issue has been resolved
