Export data from VC to PDF

Hello,

I have seen some instructions of how to export data from VC to PDF excell etc, but the ones that I have seen are using BI Queris to fetch the data, so the formula looks like "com.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY='STORE@Name'&BI_COMMAND_1-...." but my model is based on a BAPI so what would be my command based after "com.sap.com.ip.bi.bex?XXX='STORE...." if I am not using a BI query based but a BAPI?

Hi,

It is only possible to export data from a BI query and not possible from BAPI. But you can use export to excel action in the update version Ehp 1.

Yes I know the excel export, but I would really need to PDF, thanks.

Hi

There is very simple way of exporting the data to PDF. Follow the steps -

1. Download PDF convertor on your machine.

2. Create one button 'Convert to PDF' in your VC model.

3. IN this button assign system command as 'Print'

4. Save & Execute the model.

After execution when you will click on this button, it will open normal print pop up window. Here you will find PDF convertor. Select this & Convert to PDF.
