Dear all

i want to create sales order will bill of material

parent material and 10 compound materials , and delivery for 10 compound materials and billing for 10 compound materials

in cs01 we create bill of materials

but i want setting, can any one help me in configuration settings

in advance thanks

BOM is configured in SAP by assigning Sub items to a higher level Item. The system then explodes the BOMs in the sales order by automatically generating sub-items for the components.

for configuring BOM, you have to assign A specific item category group assigned to the material master record of the main item defines which item categories are assigned to the main item.

You have to use Item Category group LUMF or ERLA in Material master.

and

TAQ and TAE should be defined in customer master data for ERLA.

TAP and TAN should be defined in customer master datta for LUMF.

CS01, CS02 are the t-code to create and change BOM. Usually I execute CS03 to look at other BOM created for company and then create new one according to requirement.

Hi

search the Forum / WIKI and you will get lots of material for BOM. Incase you find some difficulty in Customising ask the same and be specific to your error.
