import multi lingual in a qualified look up

Dear all,

We have a qualified lookup field with a multi lingual look up as qualifier.

We want to import these fields with all languages in one update load.

I have changed the settings already but in the import only the log on language is visible in the import manager.

Does anyone has any suggestions how tackle this problem

thanks in advance for your help

Helas, This doesn't solve the problem.

The non qualifiers are in multi lingual but when I start loading the main record, only the log on language is visible in the destination window. I can only map the english content in case I've logged in with englisch and the french content logging in with french.

You are right with loading normal look up tables, this is possible with multi lingual in one time as you described.

do you have any other ideas?

thanks in advance

Hello Harrie Antonise

No problem do import multilingual data to fields in QLUT

Simple example

in you reposiotry you used 2 languages (English and Italian)

and had QLUT with only one field - Name

Source data multilingual and source file format next:

name EN,Name IT

One, Uno,

Two,Due

load import manager with default language English

Select as destination table your QLUT table

At the Destination Fields window (Map fields/values Tab)

you have seen a two records "Name" whith different language values in language column

one record marked black color and another marked red

Map your source Name EN field to Destination Name marked black(language English)

then map another source record Name IT to Name with language Italian

Do next step for import data

After that you can do relation QLUT and Main by English field value

fied

For multilingual fialds you have by default lot of fields named name[DF]

Second step

Load data to main table and create relation with QLUT
