Hi,
Can any one explain regarding.
SAP-RE IMPLEMENTATION project, what will be the scenario.
Regards
re-implementation is when the client realise that the first implementation was useless !!!!
usually when clients have moved from very old versions of SAP say 4.0 B to say ECC 6.0 ehp4 there is so much functionality gap that it is not treated as a technical upgrade but re-implementation
reimplementation also allows business to redesign there processes which are now not relevant as they were in sync with polder versions and older times

In continuation of Virendra said, when there is version change with respect to major chagne in Functionality one of this type of example is R/3 4.0 onwards, SAP has introduced Valuated stock for Project / Sales Order. This can impact whole business financially. And is one of the good functionality, which is good to implment , If this type of changes client has to taken in to account that go for Re-Implementation.
Sometimes at Business Blue Printing is not done properly and Project is in realization phase, at that time Client retain some other service provider / Technical experts to look & address the same. This type of consulting is one of the trend which is catching up , because sometimes it is always to correct rather than going for whole re-implementation.
With Regards
Nitin P.
