CTM running issue

hello

could somebody help me

i'am trying to run a CTM ( snp) very light: i have only one demande of 50 units and a stock of 25 units. ( these 2 datas are well taked into account by CTM ( when i run the simulation they appears))

my issue is that: accordingly to the CTM ; after its running i should get a planned order to cover the 25 missing units : but nothing hapens.

what would be your advice ( to check, to set-up) as to get my demande covered?

Hi Elena,

U can also check the Order Creation Start which u have maintained in Planning Strategies while running CTM.

If the Order creation day which u have mentioned lies after the Planning end, then CTM planning will not create orders.

all these set-ups are well done. i suppose my issue is comming from my PDS: as in CTM result no source of supply hase been choosen.

in my material selection i have well included this PDS in 'in -house' tab

Hi Elena,

As in CTM result no source of supply hase been choosen, then check the PDS which u have maintained.

a) Start and End date in PDS.

b) Whether the PDS is assigned to Model or not.

c)The resource which u have attached in PDS is valid and assigned to Model or not.

d)whether the Operations in PDS is valid and correctly maintained.

And also, for safe , run a TSConsistency check before planning.

Hi thanks for your response: i've checked all the points and seems to be ok

nevertheless i get the some result: nothing

i even facilitate my scenario: i have only a requirement of 7 units and no order, with a huge capaicty available on ressource: despite that no ressource is choosen

what is a TS consistency check?

Hi Elena,

/SAPAPO/TSCONS is the Time series Consistency check. It is to be run whenever there is a master data change(specially T-Lanes) which will directly effect ur planning.

Hi,

What is your SNP Prod horizon and PPDS horizon ?

Did you try running heuristics for product location combination ?

Try to CIF PDS again and then run CTM.

Hi Elena,

Please check the following

1) Is there any inconsistency of order data (both receipts and requirements)

between both R/3 and APO systems. In such case, run delta report to

clear the inconsistency and retry

2) Check late demand fulfilment strategy maintained

3) Under special strategies in CTM profile, check whether the

field "Balance surplus and shortfall quantity" are maintained

4) In Global CTM settings, check whether allow shortage is maintained

Please check whether you have defned the search strategy with appropriate ATP categories and assigned the same in your CTM profile under Supplies tab.

Please check what u have used as the "Late Demand Fulfilment Strategy" in CTM customising.
