Reason for Return Delivery

Dear all,

When we are doing a Return Delivery in SRM 4.0., the system is throwing an error " You must enter a reason for rejection for movement type 122". Where in the Return Delivery do we enter the reason? There is no related field, so how do we solve this?

Hi Ari,

To do a return delivery , you have to go the GR display mode, then the delivery button will be avialable.

For return reason code, please read note 425117 and 581594.

Hi Hari,

the error message you are getting is related to the fact that in config in R/3 or ECC you have the reason code set to mandatory for mvt type 122.

You can either amend the config so that the reason code is not required or use the BADI as described on the notes Yann has stated to pass the reason code to the backend.

In SRM v5.0 (SRM SERVER 5.5) you can enter a reason for the return delivery which will allow more flexibilty around what is passed to the backend.

Hi there,

We are trying to find the return delivery fields in SRM5 (server 5.5) but no luck. Under the item details, document tab we only have a section Text Overview with the following options: Vendor Text, Internal Note, Approval Note and Vendor Remarks. By clicking on these opens a text box.

Do we need to look at code, is this not standard in SRM5.0? Is there fields that need to be activated? How?

Please help.

Hello,

Please list systems and scenario.

If you have classic scenario with R/3 MM enabled, look in backend.
