Hi Friends,

In order to keep the live cache consistent, pls let me know what are the mandatory reports which has to be run. actually we are noticing lot of inconsistency in pegging areas etc... Pls let me know all the reports required.

Hi Vinay,

Alongwith the 6 reports that i have mentioned, the following

are some of the reports in livecache relevant to PPDS

7) /SAPAPO/RTO_ORD_COMP - Compare PP/DS Production Data Structures

😎 /SAPAPO/COMP_VARIANT - APO and R/3 Consistency Check for Product Variants

9) /SCMB/ODM_DATA_CHECK - Check for Consistency of Order Documents

10) /SAPAPO/TSCONS - Consistency Check for Time Series Network

11) /SAPAPO/CRES_CREATE_LC_RES - Resource livecache cons check

Let me check if I can able to get the other balance 9 reports as well

Hi Vinay,

In order to keep your livecache consistent, the following reports needs to

be scheduled in your system

1) /SAPAPO/OM17 - liveCache Consistency Check

(Before that keep all users blocked, all cif queues blocked, once it is

done, release the users and cif queues and clear all the queues)

2) /SAPAPO/CCR - Compare reconcile Check

(Do not carry out this check for all transactional data. Where you feel

the inconsistency is more based on your experience, carry out the

check and subsequently clear all the queues)

3) /SAPAPO/PSTRUCONS - Consistency Check for Planning Object Structure

(Do not schedule this on weekly, run this only on month basis)

4) /SAPAPO/TSCONS - Consistency Check for Time Series Network

(Do not schedule this on weekly, run this only on month basis)

5) /SAPAPO/CONSCHK - Model Consistency Check

(Run this once in 3 or 6 months)

6) /SAPAPO/DM_PEGCHECK - Consistency Check for Pegging Areas

(Carry out this once in a week or once in 2 weeks)

These are the basis reports which will ensure livecache in tact.

Dear Senthil,

I contacted SAP and explained them about inconsistency in PPDS. They said there are around 20 reports in live cache relavent to PPDS. May i know where i can get.

Hi,

TSCONS running weekly or monthly is not hard and fast rule.

It is only based on how frequently your masters (especially Tlanes) get changed or create in the system.

As we run this daily.

/SAPAPO/OM_ORDKEY_ORDMAP_CHECK -consistency check for ordmap, ordkey, om_order

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK_SNP

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK_ALL

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_REORG Check Note: 425825

Consistency Check for Operations: In the database table of /SAPAPO/OPR operations, operations may exist which have no orders in the liveCache or no orders for a simulation version or orders for deleted simulation versions or no external operation number.These operations place an unnecessary burden on the database table and may cause poor system performance.

To delete operations, which are no longer required, from the database, you should schedule the Z_CHECK_CONSISTENCY_OPERATIONS report on a weekly basis.

To create the above report, follow the instructions in note 458854.

Bellow given reports are BASIS relevant. Please concern with basis.

/SAPAPO/OM_REORG_DAILY -you must reorganize data in the liveCache once a day This report should run during periods when the liveCache is operating (not, for example, stopped during a data backup) and when the system usually has a light workload (at night, for example).

/SAPAPO/OM_CHECK_ACTIVITIES -Check Program for Activities and Suborders

Hi Vinay,

Please run /SAPAPO/OM17 and correct the inconsistecies. Once this is completed run CCR and correct the inconsistencies between R/3 and APO. If TPVS is implemented in your project then run /SAPAPO/VSCC. Then run planning area initializatin and time series consistency.

I hope these correct your inconsistencies.
