MAINTENANCE OPTIMIZER

Hi experts,

i have installed SM7.0 SPS17.

I havei added a Satellite system and all RFC connections were successfull.

when i go to DSWP -- and click on the solution and Changemanagement -

---

maintenance optimizer, iam un able to see my satellite system to select.

i am able to select a satellite system in SM4 SR3 Maintenance Optimizer.

Your valuble inputs would help me a lot regarding this.

Hello,

It could be the case that the system you want to update with Maintenance Optimizer is actually not 'put in solution'.

Could you please go to transaction dswp -> solution landscape -> solution landscape then see if all the systems in the logical component of the system you want to update are highlighted in green? If the system you want is not highlighted in green, you have to right click on it, then select the menu option 'put in solution'.

If the system is still not selectable after putting it in the solution, note 1247550 may be relevant for you.

Go to SMSY.

Assign your system that you want upgrade to a logical component of your product version.

Assign this logical component to a solution.

Go to solution that you created and you'll see the system that you want upgrade.

Hi,

Have you assigned the systems in your solution or have you done "Put in Solution" in the solution landscape.
