impact changing infoarea

Hello Friends,

I am planning to re-assign whole staging path to be under a new proper infoarea. I am sure there is no impact at all to anything like update rules, routines, any logic, authorization?. But I would just like to confirm before I proceed as there is no time to fix new things now.

So, hope to hear from you experts out there.

hi Mirella,

you may have no impact to update rules, routines.

but authorization may impact if you restrict queries access by infoarea authorization.

consult with your security guy, they may need to adjust

the authorization object to the new infoarea.

no big effort, but you won't hope users complain they

can't access their queries right ?

Hi Mirella,

Apart from what A.H.P. said you would need the "drag & drop" feature turned "ON" in Admin Workbench turned on so that you can move the objects to the new Info-Area.
