How to duplicate a DC

Hi folks,

i'm working on WD developments on CE 7.1 environment. I don't have any NWDI installed and I have generated a new DC of type WD with vendor name my.test and name xyz. Now I'd like to duplicate it giving a new name xyz01 and leave the same vendor.

Do you know how can I do this?

Hi Friend,

You can do one thing just right click on project and copy the project location (Path) from there go inside the _comp folder and copy the src folder.

Just create one new DC with desired name.

Again right click on the name of project and go to the _comp folder there paste the src folder of previous DC.

Reload and rebuild the new DC. and its done. Let me know if you need any more clarification on this.

Many thanks for your quick answer. I tried to follow your steps and all worked fine!!!

I was just hoping in a quick and dirty way, something like CRTLC on project and CRTLV and the IDE asks me for a new name and refractors all the stuff.

But seems is not possible right now
