Mail from XI

Hi,

Iam getting the below error when trying to send mail from XI.

unable to call the mailer; com.sap.aii.messaging.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 0

Can anyone throw some light on this.

Are you following the same specific format which is required for sending mail .

Can you get the detailed log for adapter framework? may help understanding the root cause.

Hi,

I guess U R using wrong port.

1) check your port once again.

2 )check the SMTP service port and IP from ICM Monitor.

3) use fully qualified mail id as the receiver id.

4) and confirm the mail server is running or not.
