When I publish Bids emails does not go to vendor. What would be the problem?

There are several possibilities.
- The document is not approved. Please check the document status in BBP_PD.
- Outgoing email is not customized. Check the transaction SCOT.
- Outgoing email job is not scheduled. Check the transaction SCOT.

Hi,
Please test followings and let us know the result.
1. Logon via SAPGUI and send email from your inbox to your office internat email address.
If the email does not delivered to your office internet email address, some SCOT customizing is wrong.
2. If above test is OK.
Check the email generated to bidder. Go to transaction SCOT. Menu Utilities -> Overview of send orders. Search email to bidder. If there is no email to bidder, that means application did not generate any email.

I had tested and then gone to SCOT and Menu Utilities -> Overview of send orders. There the mails status was as waiting. I executed from there and the mails were sent. I need 2 clarifications
1. I need the mails sent immedieately once I Publish Bids.
2. Where do I go to edit the message in the smart form sent?
