Help!!!! How can I display abap report using Star office application instead of MS Excel. Thanks

Hi ICT,

Welcome to SDN.

1. Since Star office software

is not based on OLE concept,

(like MS Word, Excel)

2. SAP Cannot support directly

to show a report in STAR OFFICE.

Hello,

i think this is not always correct, because if you use Open office/ Star office on

a windows machine you can use OLE.

See <a href="http://udk.openoffice.org/common/man/spec/ole_bridge.html">OpenOffice OLE_Bridge</a> for documentation.

In this way you can open a open office document from ABAP and get data to your

report or put data from your report to this document.
