Hi All
I am sending Dunning and accounting statement output to FAX but the text which is in chinese language it not getting printed correctly . Its printed as junk characters.
Can you please guide where can be the issue or do I need to do any language configuration .
Thanks,
Amit
Hi Amit,
Goto the SAP system in which you are trying to execute.
Goto last button in menu bar -> Customizing of local layout ( Alt + F12)
In character set, try both checking and unchecking character sets related to Chinese (Simplified & Traditional)
If your problem is not solved, then contact BASIS team.

Nisha Vengal.

Hi
The problem might be due to either of the following reasons
First check whether your system is unicode or non unicode. You can see it by System->status. there is a field for Unicode. There you can find Yes/No.
If Unicode: The check printer attributes then check the Fax configuration with help of SPAD transaction.
Just ensure the printer character set in Attributes Tab is 4110 and UTF-8 encoding. If not then contact your basis team to change these settings.
IF NO: Then ensure that the font set used for writing is installed in the printer configuration . Again in SPAD transaction
Cheers
Ajay
