filename or extension is too long error

When installing SAP_NetWeaver_2004s i am getting the following error, any help?

Santosh,

It seems like the directory path is too long for the file to be accessed. Try shortning the directory path for the file and retry.

you are right my directory name is long, i changed it and i have installed sucessfully

hi,

Search the installation log to find out when the program SAPCAR.exe was called. The

specific log file of this call is specified before the program is called. You can find entries

such as the following:

Output of

C:/DOCUME_1/ADMINI1/LOCALS~1/Temp/1/sapinst_exe.3276.1074091

762/SAPCAR.exe is written to the log file SCS.log.

Search this log file for more details on the extraction process and any other error

messages.
