PO reffering ECC contract

Former Member

Hi

When I try to create a PO referring an info record as a source ,it creates the same(PO) but when a ECC contract is referred as a source,it does not create PO.

When we check error it suggests some internal error.

Can any one suggest the possible reason for this failure

Thanks in advance

You can refer only PCTR contracts in SRM as source of supply.

thanks for the reply. When I say we refer ECC contract means we are selecting ECC contract in SRM screen which appears when sources are referred.

I am not clear on your reply. Can you please elaborate?

HI BM

for eg. you can refer inforecord/ ECC contract as a source of supply for Classic scenario.

but inforecord and back end cotract will not appear as a source of supply in Extended classic.

in ECS , either you can refer PCTR contract or you can transfer existing backend contract to SRM by SRM reports.

Hope you understand now.

Hi Arjman

you can see Inforecord as a SOS as like contract in the SC.

if your Inforecord is valid . date/org data and it must populate for sos.

inforecord is also one of the main source of supply in classic scenario

check any development mad in SRM not to show inforecord as SOS.

or create one iforecord for one material and create a sc for that material. you must see in the sos folder of sc.

Dear Muthu ,

Are you aware of any development in SRM, not to show inforecord as SOS , since in our case, ECC Contract is critical SoS .

We would like to have it only, in S/C as a SoS. But at the same time we have Info Record in ECC and it also shows in S/C as a SoS , and end user will confuse to select out of both , so we want to hide the inforecord in S/C.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

I believe you can suppress the inforecord if you dont want to show the Inforecord to use.

Have you explored the BADI - BBP_determine_source? .

Whenever you request a material from SRM via web front end SRM fetches all available source of supply and display to the user.

I am pretty sure a technical resource can do trick and not to show the inforrecord details to the Requester.
