AL11 view of Intel Server Share via QNTC ?

Hi,

I'm trying to set up to view/retrieve scanned images from a folder on an intel server. I can view/delete the data from the I-series working with /QNTC/ServerName/Share Name after creating the SIDxx profiles on the intel server. But when I come to try and view this with a directory in AL11 I get the message "no data found" but I can see and delete the file dktest.txt DSTMF at I-series level ?

Any pointers would be greatly welcomed.

Regards

David

Hi David,

if you can delete it on i5 level with sidnn, you did everyrhing proper )

AL11 might not work properly fro you ...

I would create a small ABAP, that creates an IFS file and deletes another one. Then you can test this on /tmp where it should work. After that, I'm looking forward to the results on QNTC ...

I would try a sym-link as well ... (NewLink => /QNTC/xxx/yyy) perhaps that helps ...

Hi Volker,

Thanks for your response. I had trouble with this until I changed the share name on the Intel Server to be a name less than 10 characters !! Then I could create a symbolic link and it all worked fine including accessing from AL11

Best Regards
