Hi Gurus.

I am looking for clearing some table.

i found four table of temse

tst01 tst02 tst03 tst04

i want to clear that table, but

i want to know if i clear that table , Is there any side effect on system.

actuall what the temse table suggest.

Why do you want to clear the table????.... as long as temse is consistent theres no reason to mess with it... You can do a consistency check on SP12

Hi riten patel,

Cleaning up tst01, * has never been a Best Method!

You are always advised to perform 'tempsec - Consistency Check'. As long consistence maintained ...there won't be any necessory to perform any clean -up maintenace required.

Unless you are trying to perform SID Refresh.

First you should know where temse objects are comming from:

Start trxn SP12 and have a look at the content and memory allocation

there could be:

jobs logs

batch input maps

spools

...

you can see "ownerships", client, where it is stored ( DB or FS), type of "document", the codepage

If you clean the "mother objects" the temse should go down also.certainly check the very old content!
