First prior to asking the question, let me say I am sitting here with the project portfolio management book open in front of me. I am very new to RPM.
We would like to be able to do planning based on roles. We would like to see a graph with the available hours for a role (for example project manager) on one axis and the demand need for the project manager role in all of the active projects. It seems like a standard thing to do. By reading I can see the demand/supply of one user but not by role.
Where can I do this?
I am assigning business partners to managers via role function.
Portfolio Management ->Administration->Portfolio management-> Resource Pools to assign the managers.
Each of the business partners are assigned to a role function in the attributes in RPM_EMPDATA transaction.
Thank you!
Michelle
isnt this a standard report in the reports and analytics of portfolio management?
In the folder capacity management, there is a report that should show the demand per role type as well as the supply of resources with that role type..
(or do you want to see something else?)
