Hello All,
Please clarify the below points:
1. We are upgrading our system from SCM 4.0 to SCM 7.0 (non-Unicode).
- Is it possible to install a non-Unicode BI 7.0 with our SCM 7.0 System?
- Is it possible to install a Unicode BI 7.0 with our SCM 7.0 System?
2. How about the compatibility between SCM 7.0 (non-Unicode) with BI 7.0 (Unicode) ?
3. We have a R/3 system ECC 6.0 with Unicode and SCM 7.0 with non-Unicode.
- Can we expect any problems during the extraction from R/3 into SCM-BI 7.0 (Unicode/non-Unicode)?
- Can we expec any problems during the CIF transfer for both Master and Transaction data.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Siva.
Hi,
If your ECC is Unicode and SCM is Non Unicode , and if your Plant is alphabets only eg. ABCD then you may not able to CIF your Plant from ECC to SCM.
