Hi ,
Is somebody using chekclist in cProject?
We need a question related with field 'result' in the checklist item . Standard system shows these values (Open, Ok, not OK, not relevant) . Is it possible to change these values for another ones?
Thanks a lot,
Sara
Hi Sara,
as Mariano mentioned, it is not possbile to change it in standard. And furthermore, please DO not change it using enhancement or modification, because the values are hard-wired with business logic.
Kind regards,
Zhenbo

Hi Zhenbo,
Can you please elaborate on what business logic is tied to the result field? I assumed it was primarily for reporting purposes and to capture the result, which does not drive any functionality.
Clara, good question and apologies if I am hijacking this thread , but I thought it might be helpful to know what the impact is if this is modified.
Thanks,
Lashan
Hi Lashan,
yes, it is primarily for the reporting purposes, but not only.
E.g. the value of the 'result' field affect which status of an item can have.
'Open' , status of 'Release' can only be changed to 'Set no relevant'
'OK', status of 'Released' can be changed to 'Set no relevant' or 'Finish'.
Kind regards,
Zhenbo

Best regards,
