Test/ IDES/ Sandbox SM

Dear sirs,

can anyone help me how to achieve a playground SOLMAN? Is there some IDES Solman? Or what system could be used as sandbox?

I would very like to get involved in Solman, but the basis guys have only one productive system and cannot provide me any playground Solman. I have no argument or details to make them give me a system to learn. Playin on productive does not seem to be a good idea.

Or if you can provide any information about how to begin with Solman except "find yourself a customer and a big budget":))

Can you please provide some blogs, official info, sap download site ? Anything more than just words?

Of course there is an ides solman. We used it for a long time. I would suggest that you talk with sap.
