Hi all,
I need some help on my currecnt project, in which we need to use DB Connect to get data from our warehouse which is maintained on an Oracle Database.
I do have the documentaion on " Transferrng data with DB Connect". I need a clarification on one issue. Do I have to install DBSL and Oracle Client on the BW server. If I do not have to install the oracle client the how will I connect to the external oracle database to start the dataload.
I appreciate if some one could help me get started with my project.
Regards,
S.P
SP,
Yes, you need to install the DBSL (Database shared library) and the Oracle client in order to be able to establish connectivity with the Oracle server you are extracting from.

Hope it helps,
