Colleagues,
We recently applied SP 7 to our NetWeaver04s environment, and are using Excel for our front-end. We have developed queries, and embedded them in workbooks and are trying to figure out how best to add new rows.
Apologies in advance if this obvious and we just missed it. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

Hello Michael,
it depends on the type of query. The scenarios are described in the online help. The easiest is to use key figures in the columns and a free characteristic in the rows. Then you can simply enter new rows for example using the value help (hit F4).
