Hi Ashley Ho,

Please perform below activities

- Logon to your TREX Administration Tool (or Click on TREXAdmin.bat to start the Tool).

- Click on 'Index - Admin'

- This will list all Indexes that have been created for your systems.

- Based on the priority you can make it to run on either master server or slave server.

I hope these instructions server your purpose.

Thanks!

Will your procedure also show the OS location of the index file generated by TREX? Thanks!

Hi Ashley jo,

Well, the above would not help in OS level.

The Design is, TREX always stores the indexed pointers to the actual data in it's database rather OS level.

But at OS level, you can find details about how TREX has been configured and managed.

The typical path would be <Drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\TRX<Instance number>\<Host name>

In this path, you find all *.ini files which contains the configuration details apart from regular 'work', 'log', 'trace' directories.

However, TREX does not have any database. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi Ashley Ho,

In case if you are looking for finding the 'index ID' that's being configured for Portal in the Portal Environment then please use below procedure.

- Login to portal (With Administration authorization)

- Click on "System Administration"

- Choose "Monitoring"

- Choose "TREX Monitor"

- Click on "Display Index Details"

- You are there....have all that info you required.
