We are a SAP outsourcing company with many SAP customers.
One customer wants to use SCM5.0 for planning only so that no partner systems will be connected to the
SCM5.0/LC7.6.
Is SCM5.0 designed to have above company planning as part of its functionality?
If so, where will be the data in the LC from?
Thanks a lot!
Hello Ashley,
1. Please see the "Architecture overview " & "Integration overview" at SAP link
service.sap.com/scm -> Technology
2. At SAP link service.sap.com/rkt-scm we have the
SAP Online Knowledge Products: SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)
< go to SCM 5.0 >
Customer could order SAP Business Process Management service.
3. First of all you need to get more clear on your project.
What is the customer Bisness process?
What APO planning activities customer is planning to do?
4. Review documents at www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/livecache ->
Best Practices for Solution Management: mySAP SCM < SAP link>
" Manage Production Planning in SAP APO (3.x) / mySAP SCM (4.x/5.0)"
And
"Manage SNP & CTM in SAP APO (3.x) / mySAP SCM (4.x/5.0)"
Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina
