Hi,

You will find the DVD Material No 51031810_X on the Service Market Place in Download Area.

Where X stands for your platform like if you are downloding this patch for HP UX platform then the DVD No will be 51031810_1

Also you have to apply the Interim Oracle Patches. You will find it in below path

[https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/swcenter-3pmain]>ORacle>Choose your platform 32bit/64bit>ORacle 10.2.0 64bit>Oracle 10.2.0.2--><Choose your platform>

Thanks,

Thanks for yours answers.

I´m trying to install the current patch set 10202_Patch18_MSWINX86-64.zip for 10.2.0.1. But I´m getting the message error that oracle.rdbms.rsf 10.2.0.2 not present in the oracle home.

Can Install the patch set 10.2.0.4 and after this install the rest of patches If i´ve installed oracle 10.2.0.1??

What can i do?

Hi,

10202_Patch18_MSWINX86-64.zip

This will not work. Your database is 10.2.0.1 & you are applying interim patch for 10.2.0.2.

First you have to apply the patchset 10.2.0.2 i.e upgrade database from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.2 & then have to apply the patch 10202_Patch18_MSWINX86-64.zip.

You will find the patchset as per mentioned in my earlier post.

Thanks,

Shambo

First, I´ve to apply the patchset 10.2.0.2. Which is it? I thought what was 10202_Patch18_MSWINX86-64.zip

After this I´ve to upgrade to 10.2.0.2?

More thanks for your time..

I would recommend that you go directly to 10.2.0.4.

Hi Ruben,

You got to install oracle Patchset 10.2.0.2 first which is available at:

SMP/swdc - Download - DB Patches from other vendors - Oracle - Oracle other - Patches

and then continue with the patch you trying to install.

Oracle

Oracle 64-bit

Oracle 10.2.0. 64-bit

Oracle 10.2.0.2

<Your_CPU_Type>

Try this path for upgrade:

Hi,

As I mentioned the DVD Material No. in my earlier post. This DVD is delivered with Installation Kit Seperately.

Please see OSS Note 871735 - Current patch set for Oracle 10.2.0

Windows: Important note:
The Oracle 10.2.0.2 patch set for Windows platforms is not on SAP Service Marketplace, but is on an installation CD or DVD that is delivered separately

.

OR as recommended by Eric you can directly apply 10.2.0.4 patch directly. This is most recommended by SAP.

Thanks,

Shambo

Hi,

I cannot apply directly the patch set 10.2.0.4 because I get an error during the installation.

More thanks

Could you provide more information on the error you get while trying to upgrade to 10.2.0.4?

Hello Ruben,

i think you are mixing two types of patching oracle databases ... Patchsets and One-Off-Patches

10.2.0.2 is a patchset and not a patch.

For more information about the current patchsets, please take a look at sapnote #871735 / #839187.

Stefan
