Visual administrator standalone

Hi all,

WHen I open the Visual Administrator on my laptop I have the follow:

Visual Administrator version is older than the version of J2EE Engine Kernel

Visual Administrator version: SP13

J2EE engine version: SP15

Wher can I download the right version?

hi Vito,

There would no problem if your Visual Admin < Server version. its JUST a WARNING... so, don't bother. you may continue working...

Are you doing a remote connection to some other j2ee engine from your laptop ?

Yes!!! In my laptop I have NWDS2004s, in the server there is WAS 640.

Hi Vito,

you can get the correct version from your server installation. On Windows, mine is under:

C:\usr\sap\P37\JC00\j2ee\admin

I haven't C:\usr\sap\P37\JC00\j2ee\admin in my pc. I have the NWDS 2004s, where I can find the right version of the Visual Administrator??

Hi Vito,

not your PC - the server! Also note that the path will be slighly different on your installation, since P37 is my SID, and JC00 contains another variable component. Have a look at your server install - the path will be very similar, but not exactly the same.
