Integrating SAP with Microsoft ADS

Hi,

Have a requirement like, whenever user try to enter into SAP system, it should be authenticated from ADS level. The challenge is User Id's are different in SAP & ADS, I mean same user with two different Id's. Understood using LDAP password synchronization is not possible. Is it possible to authenticate from ADS?? Is there any other tool or feature to accomplish the requirement??

Yes you can authenticate to Microsoft ADS using SNC and Single Sign-On. Your users in SAP don't necessarily have to have the same id as in ADS either but it does help and makes it easier to map each user using SNC.

Sorry, forgot to specify, SAP version in ECC 6.0(ABAP Stack). Is it possible only with ABAP stack??

No problem, we have a ECC 5.0 with SNC working just fine

As mentioned it will work fine with an ABAP only system.
