SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1-Excel defaults number to Exponential notation

Hi,

We have a report which will trigger an email with an excel attachment.

We are using the FM u2018SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1u2019.

If a column have numbers more than 9 digits, it is displayed with an exponential notation in the excel file .

We want the column to be displayed with out exponential notation.

Is there any parameter in the function module which will prevent this from happening?

Hi Charumathi Balachandran,

Select that particular column and goto DATA option in menu of excel and select text to columns and in the third step of that select column data format as text.

Thanks for your reply.

Our customer don't want to do any formatting in excel.

They want the excel file to be displayed with out exponential notation by default.
