Impact on Organisation Structure with Upgrade from SRM 3.0 to SRM 7.0

Hi! We are planning for the above upgrade. I know that there is some changes to the organisational model in SRM 5.0 - e.g. CP relate to BP and the display of the BP and user id is beside CP. I am assuming that during the upgrade to SRM 7.0, this would not require any changes at our end. Is that right? What I want to confirm is that there is no conversion efforts required due to this change.

Note: I understand that the vendor structure is now in a different model which we will have to deal with using the report provided by SAP.

Cheers!

Hi,

All required reports are documented in the Upgrade guide. Please check the Upgrade guide.

Hi, I have been through the upgrade and migration guide but there is no details on the impact to the organisation structure (apart from highlighting the change to enhanced ERP-SRM org model and BP conversion which is more SUS related). It also mentioned about report on the vendor structure which I have taken into account but I am more interested in whether anything needs to be done on the employee / hr structure. It probably is not an issue since nobody actually complains about it.
