Fixed fee billing

We would like to bill the customer from the project monthly using fixed fee. What kind of setup will be required to make the SD process more automatic if possible?

How the billing plan attached to billing WBS can help?

i would use periodic billing with the ability to create monthly billing plan based on the value directly in SD - need to configure SD item category etc, and link the SD line item to the WBS for the revenue

It is possible to use the billing plan to post regular invoices to the customer.

To do the actual billing, use transaction VF04.
