Hi
We are currently using XI 3.0 (SP15) with R/3 4.7 System for ABAP Proxies and IDOCS.
After reviewing various options of XI upgrade to PI 7.1 before or after ERP 6.0, we believe it is better to upgrade XI before we upgrade R/3 4.7 to ERP 6.0. So, R/3 4.7 will be using PI 7.1 short period (3 months).
I would appreciate your views on following:
1) Use of PI 7.1 with R/3 4.7 supported?
2) Any additional Support Packs or installation needed on R/3 4.7 to connect to PI 7.1?
3) Any other known issues with such arrangement?
I believe PI 7.1 should work with R/3 4.7 without any issues, but would like to confirm.
Thanks in advance,
Regards
Chandu

Not required any service packs or installations.

If you change the PI verion then proxy scenario is there then you need to again generate the proxy.

There is no limitation like that PI7.1 Supports only ECC 6.0 or higher version, its works perfectly with 4.7 version.

There is no additional service packs required .

no arrangement required ,it works perfectly.
