delivery confirmation after real delivery

Hi SAP gurus,

Can you please tell me is there any simple and standard way to trace if the shippment is delivered or not? After the delivery we would like to write back to the SAP the date and time of the shippment.

Is it posible to enter somewere in the delivery note, the real date and time of shippment... Do you know any BAPI or FM for this
