Automatic approval work flow

Hi,

We are using SRM 6.0 , I am new to workflows

We have a problem in Automatic approval of shopping carts work flow in our development system but in QA system automatic approval of shopping carts works good.

I feel development work flow(Automatic approval of shopping carts) not getting trigger.

Please let me know how to compare both system or need to check any particular setting.

Hi,

For automatic approval, workflow is not triggered in Process-Controlled Workflow. That is correct behavior.

What is the document status in BBP_PD ?

Here are the below in BBP_PD.

But purchase order not getting created . But when we do manually i.e In BBP_PD click on services for object-> workflow->start flow and selecting below workflow and start .then the purchase order getting created.

Object abbreviation : NoApproWorkf

Name : Workflow Without Approval Shopping Cart

Task :WS10000060

Please let what all needs to be check.

Please test following 3 cases and check the SLG1 log for object /SAPSRM/ in each test.

1. with Evaluation ID 0EV999

2. with Evaluation ID (blank)

3. with Evaluation ID 0EV000

Hi,

Your current process schema has Evaluation ID = 0EV999. You may find a solution testing with different value.

Also you can get detail information in SLG1. SLG1 log helps to find the root cause.

Hi,

In SRM 6.0 new concept for workflows has been introduced. This is process controlled & application controlled. By default it will be process controlled.

Below mentioned path contains the workflow details.

Go to SPRO --> IG --> SAP SRM --> SRM server --> Cross Application basic settings --> Business workflow --> Process controlled Workflow --> Business Process configuration --> Define process levels.

In the Process levels, check for SC (BUS2121), click on Process schema evaluation and for the evaluation ID check for process schema definition and then for the process schema definition check the process level configuration. If the task id is 40007988, then it is automatic approval.
