XI Alerting - raise alert on AF only on error

Hi,

I settled up alerting on AF and on IE. IE is working perfectly, if something goes wrong with mapping or something else(means on some error) alerting is triggered. I have problem with the same thing on AF. Problem is that AF alert is firing every 15 minutes wether there is an error or not. How to avoid this? Xi is on SPS19.

Check the Alert Rule defined for this alert category in RWB....If this alert is specifically for some interfaces then define the condition accordingly (make use of namespace).

Check what is configured in "Where did the error occur?" section. I hope that your AE is actually not raising alerts this frequently!

Make sure you checked ' Suppress Multiple Alerts of This Rule' for the alert rule defined in Alert configuration for AE errors.
