POWL Customizing - Default queries

Hello Experts,

We are looking for inputs / guidance for POWL customizing for default queries for roles. Eg. We want the employee to be able to display POs. The standard POWL for employee does not have this tab or query for PO.

Is there any possibility of achieving this using POWL customizing. If not is there any other way of achieving the same.

We are on SRM 7.0.

You must assign the security role to the POWL query in the POWL configuration. You also need to assign the POWL itself to the Portal role.

I am aware of the transaction codes..But I have found that even by assigning a role a to the query..the query does not appear on the POWL when the user logs in..

Hi Masa,

Could you provide the solution further - even after maintaining the above settings i am not able to find the POWL in portal while the user logs in.

You would need to implement the webdynpro app POWL_EASYwith the appropriate application id that you need and assign it to the roles. Take a look at one of the standard SAP POWL available to get an idea.
