Batch Valuation without material spec

Hello ,

I am not very sure about the significance of the check box "Batch Valuation without material spec " in the Plant dependent QM setting (Inspection lot completion tab)

Please advice ...

In simple terms, when you want to transfer Results Recording done against a Batch(Inspection Lot) to the Batch Class, this tick should be marked. Else, there would not be any values to the Batch Characteristics in the Batch Class.

Hi

It simply says that if you tick this indicator then link using the material specification exists between the master inspection characteristics and the class characteristics for the batch class.

that means if you do ot tick this a relation between MIC & class Char must be established through material specs for batch valuation to occur when the usage decision or inspection point valuation is made.

I hope this will add some value.
